Italy, among many other notable things, is a land of castles. From crumbling towers, to fully-restored fortresses (like Bardi, pictured here) it would take more than a lifetime to visit them all.

In this section, we will suggest some castles throughout Italy that you may enjoy visiting.

Note: This is a work in progress. I will be adding more castles here, as time permits.

Because we use only our own photos in this website, this is not a complete, or even partial list of Italian castles. It's just the ones for which we have digital photos. We will add more, as we continue in our travels.
